NOT JUST VIP VILLAS & FOOD, BUT VIP MEDICAL SERVICE TOO!

“Hi Tina:

I just had to write and tell you about our trip to the Dominican Republic. Your help to set it up for us was perfect. Everything went really smooth. The shuttle picked us up at the airport in Puerto Plata and was waiting for us when we arrived, and whisked us away to paradise. Everything at the resort was fabulous. We arrived on Thursday, spent seven days at the beach, the pool, the restaurants, did some shopping and had a wonderful, relaxing time. There were restaurants right on the beach with waiters to cater to our culinary whims. There was an oyster bar, a crepe restaurant and a little café with luscious beverages all around. Each night was spent at another restaurant, everything with real VIP SERVICE!

The villa we stayed in was beautiful with a private pool. The housekeepers were very friendly and respectful and we became very close with everyone over our week stay. And we loved having breakfast made for us in the villa, eating out on the patio! Even with flowers!

Saturday night (our 3rd night) we were having dinner at AZUL and my wife ordered this amazing seafood special with lobster, crab, clams and mussels. It was about 9:00 pm on Saturday night in the fabulous roof-top restaurant in the Dominican Republic when she broke the entire cap off her front tooth. Looked the spitting image of Alfred E. Newman, from MAD Magazine! My wife was crying, and threatening to lock herself in the bathroom for the remainder of our dream vacation. It was a nightmare. The people at the resort were amazing. They got us to the on-site medical clinic, where the doctor saw my wife, examined the damage and reassured us that all would be well. Then he got on the phone and arranged an appointment for 10AM the next morning, Sunday Morning!!!! We met up with a cab driver and a translator who spoke perfect English in the morning. They took us into Puerto Plata to see not just a Dentist, but a specialist, who did temporary repairs and in general was as professional and talented as any doctor you would hope to see back in the US. And my wife had her tooth – and her smile back again. Tina, I can’t rave about this incident enough. Our trip was saved. What could have been a disaster, was really almost the highlight of the trip, because it was so unexpected. Please convey our thanks to the people at the resort. OH, did I mention that their was no charge at the resort clinic and the entire dental visit, including cab, translator, tip and treatment came to $160.00. PLUS the villa was a bargain too!

This was one of the best vacations we ever had…Thank You SO MUCH and we’ll see you next year!”
